That\'s fine, :thumbup: although I wouldn\'t worry too much about cavalry for AWI. There really just wasn\'t that much used in the period.

I\'d suggest 3 infantry and 1 artillery to start first.

Generally speaking I\'d have at least a ratio of 6 to 1 in terms of infantry to cavalry for overall layout plans. ;)

Okay, I just kept close to Maurice which says that the ratio of the clashing armies should be 3 to 1. That means that an infantry orientated army must have at least one cav for every 3 infantry units. Artillery is not mentioned within this ratio. This ratio is vice versa dealing with cavalry orientated armies.

I would have to review the book, but that ratio is completely inaccurate for AWI. Perhaps it has amendments or adjustments that are not so general. However, like you said we will discuss this in depth Sunday. :)

The work Michi has done is impressive and looks to be fun this Sunday and I don\'t have to lift a finger in doing anything, but just playing! :vinsent:
