That\'s right the gun carriage was either blue or red normally and most go with the red, but I prefer the blue.

The pics make me re-activate my FIW-French.
I find it rather difficult to find good literature on uniforms/colors etc. I painted the infatry uniforms white, with blue wristbands. But I know that depending on unit and scenario there were different uniform colors.
Can you recommend any websites or books?

Hi,

really, really nice! I think the base and the paintjob is outstanding. The materials used and the arrangement on the base give the whole scene a very realistic touch. I also enjoy the \"arrogant\" stance of the soldier igniting the cannon.  The background is also nice, even so I think more trees would be quite cool, to make it look more like the fence would seperate farm land form a strip of forest.

Your photos could be firther improved by using a less regular floor.
