Axebreaker:
Thank you very nice of you. :) You are right on the background as I really didn\'t put that much effort into that part as it was late at night and I didn\'t feel like doing more pictures......lazy I guess. :whistling_1:

Christopher, your work is always outstanding.. Moreover, I am impressed of the speed of your paintjob ( without losing quality ) - confess, in reality Christopher is a painting studio consisting of more than 10 guys :D
Axebreaker:
Thank you! :D
I confess I have a paint crew that works for me and I whip them regularly to paint faster! :smiley_emoticons_outofthebox: Seriously though it\'s all me. :) Speed comes with practice(I\'m old so lots of practice! ^^ ) and knowing what paints you want to work with and how.
That said I\'m not as fast as a painter as you think. I paint in variety of different methods of which all of them require different time lengths to do. The figures above took me roughly 40-45min. each as I only blocked in the colours then applied AP and then added one highlight to most things and two on the flesh. My Samurai on the other hand take me a very long time to do as I paint in layer method adding several highlights and so a couple hours each at least.

Some more Irish ready for battle!
Figures are Bicorne and flags are from Flags of War new larger ECW flags.
I\'ll be doing some Renegade and Redoubt figures for the Scots part of the Montrose army next.
Thanks for viewing! :)

That\'s an impressive amount of minis per unit, so a wise decision to use AP and the result looks good to me
I would like to go into the ECW too, but the amount of minis for a good P&S ratio keeps me away as also the unresolved multiple project problem does
