Picking up the tomahawk(Update 15.03.13 French Marines added)
Axebreaker:
The French and Indian War skirmish element has been a dream project of mine for many years, but until now I wasn\'t quite sure how to start and
so after spending far too long procrastinating I decided to get on with it and jump in! What better way to start the project off then with the
iconic Indians who add so much colour and give that special look we all have come to associate with the period.
These Indians are from Redoubt and I just really like them! The figures are quite large with a lot of character which is a big plus for me. Most
of their packs are very good indeed, with a few not of the same quality so check before buying.
Working on some background pics as I need the practice so I hope you like it. More pics on my blog for those interested.
The rules I have in mind are Muskets and Tomahawks and This Very Ground. I don\'t like square bases for my skirmish figures so I\'ll simply state the middle of a figures chest is his facing which comes into play in the former rule set.
Thanks for viewing! :)

Beautiful painting Axebreaker
Altough I have to say that I prefer the conquest (now warlord) Indians sculptingwise.
But what I really love is your terrain, it looks almost real! Ace

Thanks guys! :D

I well understand that . :) The Conquest miniatures are probably the best detailed figures of this period and in this scale on the market however, because of this the detail is so fine the figures are difficult to paint. I like the size of the Redoubt figures and easy access to all the parts on the figures making painting them quite fun. I also think they look the most intimidating of the Indians on the market and sure would not want them after me.

Thank you! :D This is one area I sometimes get lazy in as I just want to finish up quick. :blush2: However, this time I tried to put a real effort in and do it properly. I can\'t say I\'ll do it all the time, but I\'ll try!
