But be careful, and buy the Uk edition, the german theatrical cut ist 20 minutes shorter than the UK one (but I´m not shure if there even ist a German DVD of this movie)

good thing ist, that even it´s only available as import from UK, its just about 10€ including shipping

When I do purchase it,then I will give it a review. ;) I just made a large purchase of Perry AWI and need to slow down for a little while,but I will let you know.But,if I remember correctly it is a good film and pretty well made.You can wait for my review,but I think you won\'t be dissappointed if you purchase it . :thumbup:

did you buy the movie ?

some days ago, out of a mood i bought cromwell on amazon (and as quick as amazon is, it was there 16 hours later)

When i watched the movie, I didn´t remember your review,
but the also the first things began to crawl arround in my head,

I can only sign your review,
and have to add one little fact, the pikes, for which the war of these times was \"famous\" apart from the muskets,
were far too short, in all the battles in the movie, the pikes are nothing more than  a bit oversized spears
the most pikes you will see in this movie, are those on the Cover of the dvd (which are obviously not from a scene of the movie)

but i also liked the actors, and the scenery as a whole.

So my \"advice\" is, watch some documentaries about the ECW, especially about Naseby,
then watch the movie, but ignore the faults mentioned in this thread,
