Virtually all 28mm WWI wargaming is skirmish, however there is levels of it from small skirmish to large skirmish gaming. Also, skirmish doesn\'t always mean single based individual stats, but rather just a concept of using troops. ;)

The very popular Too Fat Lardies \"Through the Mud and Blood\" here is a pretty large skirmish game with the flexibility to make it even bigger and will accommodate your two figure basing without a problem.

Warhammer\'s \"Great War\" is also flexible enough to go big by simply adding more points, and they are far and away the most beautiful looking books out there and worth owning just to have. However, it is designed for single figure basing so you will need to make adjustments for your two figure basing and is also out of print so you will need to search e-bay and forums to get the rules.

\"Crush the Kaiser\" here is somewhat new on the scene and has had good reviews. I don\'t own the rules.... yet, ^^ but my understanding is that it\'s battalion and brigade level which suggests large scale battles and is usable at all figure scales with most examples I\'ve seen at 20/28mm.

Wenn du große Schlachten spielen willst würde ich dir fast zu The Great War raten. Ist schnell, einfach und belibig vergrößerbar. Auch mit deiner zweierbasierung sollte sich das problemlos spielen lassen, ist am anfang glaube ich sogar erwähnt dass man nicht zwangsläufig eine Einzelbasierung benötigt.

Von Crush the Kaiser hatte ich bisher noch nichts gehört, hast du dazu evtl. noch mehr Infos Axebreaker?

Ich habe mir, da die Regeln recht günstig waren (14 Pfund), Crush the Kaiser - Christmas in Paris bestellt. Die Reviews klangen für mich ganz gut!
