It\'s no mistake I assure you, and certainly true. The survey shows that - compared to the rest of the world - Continental European wargamers are younger.

Careful here, I think you meant to say \"The survey shows that continental european wargamers that took part in the study are younger\"
Probably true in general though, I´m of the impression that continental europe catched the train later than the heartland of wargaming (US and UK), so the number of people who started the hobby early on is still younger than the average early adopters overseas.

That goes for everything said as a result of the survey. That said, with over 5000 responses (and about 1/3rd from Continental Europe), the sample size is getting pretty decent.

Everybody nowadays WANTS to be a nerd, but that is not the same thing. From outcast underdog to the glamorous hip avantgardist elite of society, nerdness still is not the norm.
 

I don\'t think that the term \"nerd\" is still valid in any sense. First, everybody\'s playing silly games these days or does silly \"fandom\" things and the term itself is only really used by lazy journalists or people who try to sell trash.

But of course that\'s all just off-topic chatter. Really eager to see the results of the big survey.
