erst mal guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr.
Ich habe die ausgewählt weil die Wenden (genaugenommen die Elb- oder Ostslawengenannt darunter fallen die Wagrier, OBo/Abodriten , Wilzen,...)oft die Dänen überfallen haben. Haithabu haben die endgültig zerstört.
Die Wagrier waren als Piraten den Dänen zur Wikingerzeit gefürchtet!
Und die Normannen haben nie versucht Slawische Gebiete zu koloniesieren wie sie das in England und der Normandy gemacht haben.
Dafür waren die Elbslawen viel zu wild und selbst Heinrich I hatte seine Not mit denen und hat das nur geschaft, in dem er nicht nur militärisch Vorging, sondern auch christianisierte und politische Zugeständnisse an den slawischen Adel gab.
Es würde mich auch nicht wundern, wenn einige unseren Wendischen Helden in England aufgetaucht wären und dort \"wikingern\". Da nicht zu unterschieden sind von den Wikingern. Es ein sehr reger Handel mit den Wikinger gab, so das Waffen und Ausrüstung sich angliechen.
Die Truppe die mir dann vorschwebt wäre eine harte Truppe die Erfahrung im Kampf gegen Wikinger, Franken, Turkvolker und natürlich andere Wenden hat.
Optionen muß man sich noch dazu überlegen.

Danke für die Antwort, Kyriakos. Ich hab schon etwas gebastelt, sitz da ja eine Weile dran und hab dank Wikipedia schon sehr viel rauslesen können. Mit Robert zusammen basteln wir ja an den entsprechenden Listen. Meine \"Wenden\" sind auch schon fast fertig und dank deiner Anregung auch mit heidnischem Einfluss :)

Inzwischen hat sich einiger bei der Liste getan. Habe den Zeitraum inzwischen auf 800-1200 erweitert, unterteilt in drei Abschnitte (frühe Ostfranken, späte Ostfranken, frühes HRR). Dazu bei jedem Abschnitt ein paar Regionale Unterscheidungen.
Gefällt mir soweit ganz gut, einiges an Detailarbeit wird aber noch nötig sein, vorallem fehlt immernoch der Hintergrundteil (*schluck* ;)).
