Anzahl der Kompanien bei der Garde

Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen.
Bei http://centjours.mont-saint-jean.com steht, daß die französischen Gardebataillone 4 Kompanien hatten.
Im Buch: Die Schlacht bei Waterloo/La Belle Alliance von Hans-Wilhelm Möser s. 158 lese ich, daß sie 8 Kompanien hatten.

Es kommt auf den Zeitpunkt an. 1805 hatte die Alte Garde noch 8 Kompanien pro Bataillon, später nur noch 4, d.h. die meiste Zeit waren es 4.
