From two news bulletins on the Victrix homepage dated June 10th (for some reason they only showedup today for me): ZitatQuote: 10th June - Napoleonic Highland Infantry due for release Victrix are due to release two Napoleonic Highland Infantry sets: VX0006 British Napoleonic Highlanders Centre Companies 1807 - 1815 VX0007 British Napoleonic Highlanders Flank Companies 1807 -1815 These sets contain 60 figures including officers, Standard bearers, sergeants, drummers and pipers. The mix of poses feature marching, advancing and firing/loading positions. Both Highland Infantry sets will include flag sheets for a number of Highland regiments. We anticipate that both sets will be available for pre orders through our online shop on 29th June 2009. and: ZitatQuote: 10th June - New French Napoleonic Infantry 1804 - 1807 available August 2009 Victrix are pleased to announce the release of VX0008 French Napoleonic Infantry 1804-1807 representing troops of the early Empire. Nevertheless, it is well documented that some French units were still wearing bicornes as late as 1812. This new release will feature bicorne heads for Fusilier, Voltigeur and Grenadier companies. We have also included Grenadier bearskin heads, a porte fanion arm and a bicorne waving arm.and: ZitatQuote: 10th June - French Imperial Guard Grenadiers well under way june - We have commenced work on the tool for set VX0009 French Imperial Guard Grenadiers with a release date sometime in September 2009 This will be a 60 figure set of Imperial Guard in campaign dress wearing greatcoats. It will feature a full command element of officer, drummer and standard bearer also wearing greatcoats. Customers will have a choice of march attack, advancing and firing/loading poses. The newly sculpted faces are full of character and suitably represent the grizzled Veterans of Napoleons Imperial Guard. An example of the flexibility of this set is that heads from VX0005 French Napoleonic Infantry 1807-1812 can be combined with this set to create French Line Grenadiers or Line Voltigeurs. We will post photographs of the Imperial Guard masters on the website in the near future. No photos to go with any of these, but some people posted shots of their 3-Ups from Salute and Paul hicks keeps on showing off his masters for the metal minis. Cheers, Burkhard
