TWDC\'s The Great War In The East RangeWe get a lot on enquires about plans for The Woodbine Design Company\'s Great War In The East Range so we thought we\'d set up this page to explain current thinking and sketch out forthcoming release plans as they are made. The Woodbine Design Co support \'The Easterners\'!The Woodbine Design Company (TWDC) is planning to cover in depth the Gallipoli, Palestine & Mesopotamia campaigns plus other \'Side Show\' theatres such as West & East Africa. There is even talk of German New Guinea & Samoa. But I think that\'s just talk. All the nations involved will be covered; British & Empire Troops (including of course the ANZACS, Sikhs & Ghurkas), The Ottoman Empire (Turks & Arabs), Germany (Asia Korp) and France (including Colonial Troops & The Foreign Legion.) Although all the armies involved feature many different troop types, most of these were fairly standard across all \'Eastern\' theatres.However all the campaigns offer scope for some rather interesting specifics; Lawrence\'s Arabs, Von Lettow-Vorbeck\'s East African Germans, the Senussi in Egypt for example.
