Empress Miniatures would like to announce that they are now the very proud owners of Anglian Miniatures.



Nigel Higgins, the driving force behind Anglian, created a superb company with an excellent reputation. So much so that it provided an important model for us girls to base our own company on. In fact to paraphrase the great Victor Kiam “We liked it so much, we bought the company.”

Our plan at Empress Miniatures is to continue to develop both the Spanish Civil War and Abyssinian ranges with the expertise of Nigel in the background so all you loyal customers of Anglian please do not worry. This range will continue to grow. In fact there are already some exciting new releases in the pipeline.

For all those loyal customers of our Anglo- Zulu War range please do not be concerned that you will be left behind. Within a few days we will be announcing the first of a torrent of new releases that should flow for the next few months.

We even have a very exciting new range currently being planned which should get aficionados of both gaming and painting very excited.

In the meantime we would like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal customers for their past, and hopefully, future business.

Ja cool. Empress gibt´s bei Miniaturicum...Anglian dann wohl auch!

Nicht schlecht, Anglian hat einige nette Sachen und Empress ja sowieso. Zudem interessant, auf dem historischen Miniaturenmarkt setzt sich eine gewisse Konsolidierung fort.

Im Mai haben die beiden Damen ein Interview in der WI gegeben. Schrieben unter anderen, Empress sei nicht Ihr Hauptberuf, so daß sie alle Gewinne zurück in die Entwicklung der Miniaturenreihe stecken könnten. Daher könnten sie auch Figuren für die Zulu Range unter nicht kommerziellen Gesichtspunkten produzieren, von denen sie das Gefühl hätten, sie gehörten da rein. Figuren bzw. Vignetten, von denen der Sammler nur eine benötigt.

Ich denke, da ist Anglian in guten Händen, zumal wenn Nigel da bleibt.
Und ansonsten haben die Mädels ja noch Paul Hicks in der Hinterhand.
