I don\'t plan on taking anymore pictures of this unit,but my next unit will be some skirmishers.They will not have shields,so this will give you a better look at the flesh and I\'ll try and get a closer look. :) Bear in mind,I don\'t like photo\'s to close up as that distorts images and doesn\'t present them in the fashion they will look on the table or even up close up in person. ;)

I started with a white undercoat.I normally use black,but with army painter I recommend using lighter tones like white or light gray so as not to darken your base colors.
You need only use a base color for each part in colors a bit lighter then you normally would.
When finished painting in the base colors then brush on army painter using a light coat.Notice that I said brush it on and not dip it.Be careful not to let it pool up in places and continue to brush until you have a light even coat.It will pool in some areas,but careful use of the brush will limit it.
At this point your finished,but you can add some highlights if you wish.I recommend doing so with anything white.I only added highlights to the clothes and spear tips by re applying the base color to the raised areas to clean it up some.
Now apply a coat of matt varnish to remove the shine.I use GW satin(pure) as it doesn\'t dull the model down to much,but still removes the shine and offers a nice protection.However,careful when using it and only spray lightly and from a distance or you will in fact give it a shine. ;)
Please remember the cow hide patterns are not army painter(dip) and are hand painted.I hope this helped. :)
