DBA\'s great for what it is.

I\'ve played it for years but I have to say I dont think it carries off  linear, post-pike massed musketry f C18 well at all

its great for a clash of swords/pikes and works well in the rhythym of  ancient/renaissance battles
I\'ve run a punic wars campaign in a day with DBA.. you cant do that with anything else I know of.

that being said there\'s not much meat to it. its a bit rock scissors and paper an the command system is a bit random for me.

DBA can get flogged to death ad its metaphor stretched into every period , \"just becuase they can\"
dba can be a bit of a wargaming thought bubble, wargaming pachinko/tazo , but I love it all the same

...mein Fehler, ich habe eben die die Überschrift gelesen + wohl überreagiert. Den englischen Text habe ich offenbar auch falsch verstanden + darum mit dem Hinweis auf meine Regeln Hilfe angeboten. Vielleicht gibt es ja auch Leute aus dieser Region, die nicht gleich $ 35.- ausgeben wollen für neue Regeln, oder solche, die keine englischen Regeln mögen...
