Republique of France

The resolute Republique of France and its people have undergone many tribulations since their experiences in the early 19th Century. Once it was an imperial power that looked set to challenge the Prussians as masters of Western Europe, and the Britannians as rulers of the oceans. But these dreams were shattered by a series of catastrophic events at the dawn of the century.

Such was the speed of its fall from grace that France, which in 1804 had dictated the fate of other nations, had by 1815 been virtually reduced to the role of spectator to events. The future of Europe and a considerable part of the world besides was decided on the fields of Waterloo, but the Republique’s fate was out of its hands entirely.

However, since that time, the Republique has not languished in despair. Having reached, as they saw it, the very lowest depths of despair, the French spent the following decades dedicating all their efforts and energies into rebuilding their nation and its glory.

Now, as the 1870s dawn, and the world is gripped by crisis, France sees at last the chance to regain its rightful place as a great power. The self-satisfied, naysayers and complacent, at home and abroad, who in the past have sought to write off the Republique’s fortunes will soon be proven very wrong.

Regelwerk 1.1

Zitat
Since launching in October 2010, Dystopian Wars has gone from strength to strength as more and more gamers jump onboard and discover the technological marvels of a Victorian Sci-Fi Age. As Dystopian Wars evolved, we continued to make improvements to our popular game. That natural progression has led us to the new Dystopian Wars Edition 1.1 Master Rulebook.

This edition, which will be shipping from Monday 27th February, brings together a number of key changes to the rules system, a refinement of the rules text and tweaks to the Stat Cards of certain models, all of which enhance the game and deliver a better tournament experience. Rules for the original four nations are presented clearly and concisely, backed up with some beautiful illustrations of the characters and ships that bring the world of Dystopian Wars to life. Of course, the Edition 1.1 Master Rulebook is still fully compatible with the Covenant of Antarctica and the new Republique of France A5 Fleet Guides.

We are very excited about the improvements to the highly-anticipated Edition 1.1 Master Rulebook. To celebrate the launch of the Edition 1.1 Rulebook, we’re delighted to bring you TWO very special offers.

Go to our dedicated Dystopian Wars Edition 1.1 Master Rulebook page for more details on each of our special offers.

Das verbesserte Regelwerk 1.1 wird ab dem 27. Februar ausgeliefert. Es wurde insgesamt verbessert, Frankreich und CoA sind aber weiterhin in eigenen BĂŒchern enthalten.

Es gibt drei Arten auf die man das Buch bekommen kann:

Black Wolf

Captain Vladimir Nikonov is what many call a criminal, but he thinks of himself more akin to a pirate of old. He has no allegiance to any nation, and will, for the right payment, bring the full, deadly force of The Black Wolf to a military engagement. A veteran of the Russian Coalition naval forces, Nikonov rose quickly through the ranks, and soon became the chosen Captain to command the latest technological achievement of the Russian Coalition, the Submersible ĐżŃ€ĐžĐœĐŸŃŃŃ‰ĐžĐč ŃĐŒĐ”Ń€Ń‚ŃŒ (Death Bringer).

But on its maiden voyage Nikonov, and his loyal supporters, stole the submersible and vanished. A year later reports of a devastating ‘underwater machine of destruction’ first appeared in a Britannian newspaper following the destruction of a flotilla of KoB warships in the waters around Greenland. Within 6 months the names Nikonov and The Black Wolf would be heard around the world
 and death would soon follow.

So, how do you get hold of Captain Vladimir Nikonov’s stunning submersible? The simple answer is by ordering the new Dystopian Wars Edition 1.1 Master Rulebook from the Spartan Games Online Store. You’ll then get this £8.50 model for free, an A6 piece of artwork with the model’s rules on the reverse, a Stat Card and two acrylic Echo Templates. Whichever nation you command, be sure to hire the services of this most cunning of mercenaries, and use him to help defeat your opponents in battle!
