Neue 1/56 AWI-Reihe von Richard Ansell

Sie sehen von der Machart so wie die RifRaf----- Rif War Figuren aus. Die sind auch von Ansell und sehen gut aus, passen aber mit keiner anderen Figurenrange zusammen, weil sie realistische 28mm sind (Größe stimmt zwar, aber sehr schmächtig mit kleinen Köpfen und Händen).
Das könnte bei den Perrys ein Problem werden, weil Köpfe und Hände eher größer ausfallen. Abwarten.

AWI ist auch nicht so mein Thema PUUH ;)

Totally disagree with that statement. 8| I believe the Perry\'s are the premier sculptors of our time and they already have an outstanding AWI range .Richard Ansell miniatures are not all that good as they look quite stretched in my view with completely distended upper body portions and no shoulders at all. :thumbdown:
I really like the AWI period,but I\'ll stay with the best.....Perry. :thumbsup: Foundry also has some nice ones and Front Rank does as well.

Seh ich jetzt zwar auch nicht so, daß der Ansell der Beste ist, aber die Perries sinds auch nicht. Die haben sich nur so einen guten Ruf über Jahre hinweg erarbeitet und tatsächlich auch eine hohe Qualität. Ich glaube die könnten inzwischen auch totalen Müll abliefern die Jünger würden das beweihräuchern und kaufen, kaufen, kaufen. Zu sagen der oder jene ist der Beste ist reine Geschmacksache. Ist so wie mit Gitarristen :)

Hi Axe !
Sorry, I dont have a favourite. I can`t tell you. It`s the model I want not the name of the sculptor. If I like it, I buy it. I like the Perry Sudanese. I have them. The Perry Sudan British ( except the naval troops ) look like kids because they all have a childrens face. Don`t have them.

For the AWI I was really looking at the Perries too but I still hesitate...
