Kingmaker aufgekauft.

Die Figurenreihe von Kingmaker wurde aufgekauf, was erstmal zu folge hat, dass sie günstiger werden (Juhu :) )

Hier ist die Mail die ich erhalten habe:

 Many of you may know us already as Simon and Michael of Curteys Miniatures and recently 1st Corps. Having been given the opportunity to take over from Julian and Steve we felt it was something not to miss.
 
 We are now in possession of all the moulds and will be in production over the weekend once we have had time to go through everything.
 
The website will be fully functional again soon when the contact details etc have been changed.
 
 Till then we can be contacted via e-mail at firstcorpsuk@aol.com, orders can be placed via e-mail and we will send a paypal invoice.
 
 Once we have made sure all the figures are in production moulds we will be looking at which new figures to do first.We have lots of plans to expand the Hussite range and to add new ranges. Initial releases will be archers and then dismounted men at arms, probably followed by some Cumans etc to make it possible to field Hungarians.
 
We would like to hear your thoughts of what you would like to see produced.
 
To get things started we have reduced many of the prices of the packs, see the list below.Please note discounted deals will be avalaible again when the website is ready.
 
Our first show with Kingmaker and Curteys/1stCorps will be Britcon, Machester, Uk on 15/16th August.

Ist eher so, dass Kingmaker von den Inhabern abgestoßen wurde, weil sie den Geschäftsaufbau von Victrix (Plastik-Napoleonics) nicht parallel betreiben wollen/können. Mal sehen, wie lange die Preise tatsächlich niedrig bleiben...

Ich bin nicht so begeistert davon, denn die Kingmaker-Reihe ist wirklich erste Qualität, was man von Curteys nicht sagen kann. Tatsächlich gehören Curteys zu den Reihen, die in Natura noch schlimmer aussehen als auf den Bildern... :cursing: Ich fürchte, das zukünftige Kingmaker-Miniaturen dementsprechend aussehen werden...

Das hoffe ich mal nicht Curteys Minis sind wirklich grotig. Die Gußformen bleiben ja erhalten.

Ja, aber es sind auch neue Minis angekündigt. Wenn die Designer die gleichen bleiben, ist das eine ute Nachricht. Wenn die Designer von Curteys übernehmen, gute Nacht!
