Sehr cool! Ich finde es lustig, dass der zündende Kanonier eine sehr arrogante Pose hat. Irgendwie passt das super in die Zeit, in der man mit Perücke und Dreispitz Krieg gemacht hat. Kommt da noch eine Kanone mit Offizier?

Schön zu sehen das auch andere Leute Ihre Kanonen(-Lafetten) für Franzosen im Rahmen des Zeitraums nach 1700 blau anmalen anstatt rot .... in dem Punkt wiederspricht sich nämlich so manche Literatur ;)

I do not think so. Probably need to purchase an infantry officer as a substitute.

That\'s right the gun carriage was either blue or red normally and most go with the red, but I prefer the blue.

Nice paint job! Well done!
The pics make me re-activate my FIW-French.
I find it rather difficult to find good literature on uniforms/colors etc. I painted the infatry uniforms white, with blue wristbands. But I know that depending on unit and scenario there were different uniform colors.
Can you recommend any websites or books?

Hi,

really, really nice! I think the base and the paintjob is outstanding. The materials used and the arrangement on the base give the whole scene a very realistic touch. I also enjoy the \"arrogant\" stance of the soldier igniting the cannon.  The background is also nice, even so I think more trees would be quite cool, to make it look more like the fence would seperate farm land form a strip of forest.

Your photos could be firther improved by using a less regular floor.
