Your miniatures and photos really are always nice and of a very consistent quality. I would however really like to see a group-shot eventually!. :--)

Thank you :) and I will once I\'ve painted up a few more pieces of terrain specific to the period and a proper large sky background to give the right atmosphere I want. The pieces I have now are fine for unit pics, but not an army or battle scenes yet.

Wirklich sehr schöne Einheit. Toll bemalt und in Szene gesetzt.
Nur eine Frage: Handelt es sich bei dem Offizier im eine konföderierte Figur?
Mit den Rangabzeichen auf seinen Schultern sieht er für mich eher wie ein Unionssoldat aus.

With those insignias on his shoulders he looks to me more like a union soldier.

Confederate officer regulation uniforms in the very early part of the war were the same as the union, but many also wore state or even regional uniforms which varied widely from regiment to regiment. The wonderful thing about confederates is one can take more liberties then with union and I decided the commander of this regiment decided or should I say managed with great care to retain his old early war uniform coat, but at least does wear a proper confederate officers kepi. ^^
