One word of advice,if you wish to sell anything on e-bay,ask for a minimum!Don\'t do 1€ bids.

I didn\'t sell anything for 1€.That was the starting bid only and it went up,just not enough. :pinch: I was selling very old unpainted Warhammer 40000 models.I expected close to half price for them.That did not happen. :(

The curious thing about selling Miniatures on Ebay is that people will pay more than retail prices + shipping for readily available things like the new Chaos Warriors or Space marienes, but the real rare OOP things get away rather cheap.

@axebreaker: I thought painted, because we had a discussion about selling painted miniatures on ebay iirc.

@poli: The new shiny Warriors are bought by new customers, the oop rare miniatures by people who collect what they can get cheap. Or have you seen a teenager with his new dragon company dwarf army from ebay recently? Well, sometimes the old miniatures are sold for a fortune as well.

@Christof

Indeed you are correct.I was doing an experiment of selling unpainted(90%) and Painted (10 %)miniatures and see what happened.What I meant was I was not selling my miniatures that I painted to the standard you see in the Gallery. ;) These were only a couple of models I painted up quick and clean(you saw one).The result was the painted did go for more,but still fell short of expectations.The same goes for the unpainted.I tried e-bay before and put a minium price and got better results.Therefore in my opinion do not do the start at the 1€ option,and instead use the a minimum. :thumbup:

Some (if not many) of the old GW models go for hilarious prices since they skipped the mail order archive. Depends what you have.
I think GW-Fanworld doesn\'t allow for advertising ebay auctions.

And if you have any Necromunda figures left tell me first ;) .
