Halli hallo...
Ich hätte mal ne Frage... Die Napo Britten, die ich gerade anmale, wollte ich wahrscheinlich als das 1st Royal Scots Foot Regiment aufstellen und insbesondere interessiert mich das 3e Bataillon. Dazu habe ich mir dann von GBM eine Fahne gekauft, die allerdings die Markierung für die Egypten Kampagne trägt, also die kleine Sphinx. Das 3e Bataillon hat in der Zeit allerdings noch nicht mal existiert. Würde es dennoch die Egypten Markierung auf seiner Fahne tragen? Waren solche Markierungen bei den Briten für das ganze Regiment gedacht? Ich habe mal bei GBM nachgefragt, aber bei zwei Emails gab es keine Antwort bis jetzt... Vielleicht habt ihr eine Ahnung?

Von dieser Liste ausgehend waren die wohl schon in Agypten bevor Waterloo.

The Sphinx, superscribed Egypt, commemorated the part played by the Regiment in the defeat of Napoleon\'s armies in Egypt.
bekommt man das Gefühl, dass die Sphinx fürs gesamte Regiment benutzt wurde... also könnte es sein, dass das 3e und 4e Batt. sie auch auf ihren Regimentals hatten.
