Ok, jetzt muss ich kaufen.
This year, we decided to make some special figures for release at Salute (http://www.salute.co.uk/). Two of the figures will be only available from Perry Miniatures (http://theminiaturespage.com/man/perry/)\' trade stand TG 10, the two codes, one from Renedra (http://theminiaturespage.com/man/renedra/) (whose stand is next to us), and the other from Dave Thomas.
If you buy three plastic Wars of the Roses boxes from our stand, you will receive a Richard\'s Crown figure - a Lancastrian knight holding aloft Richard III\'s crown after Bosworth.

If you buy three plastic boxes of any Napoleonic cavalry, you will receive a free Ney - complete with comb-over, as we\'ve been reliably informed he was \'bald as a coot\' by this stage of the war.

Dave Thomas will have the mounted Napoleon set which contains Napoleon, Soult and Mameluke Ali.

All these are 28mm, and will be incorporated into their relevant ranges at some point.
Also at our stand, we will be previewing our next two plastic boxes that are in line after the WotR\'s Merecenaries, which have just gone off for tooling.
We\'ll be showing how some of the pre-production shots of the plastic Hussars have painted up next.

Arghhh...der Franzose auf dem Pferd ist wirklich eine Sünde wert (Auch wenn ich auf der Alliierten Seite stehe). Aber wie man raushört werden sie ja irgendwann auch im normalen Programm erscheinen..

Well,
just back from Salute, where I had a chat with Alan and Michael Perry,
and the news is:
WOTR 2nd box (Mercs) – main frame gone for
tooling, command frame not quite finished yet. At least 6 months or so
before they become available. I reckon we\'ll be lucky to see them much
this side of Christmas.
Happily, there will definitely be a 3rd
WOTR plastic box, and it will be fully armoured cavalry (mounted
knights). Hobilars and lighter cavalry types will be made in metal. No
ETA on this 3rd WOTR box, but sounds like at least a year away. Maybe by
next Salute!
Meanwhile, the two mystery \'next boxes\' will be:
1.
Plastic Ansar for the Sudan – generic bodies, with lots of head, shield
and weapon choices to enable Arab / Beja / Hadendowah tribesmen all to
be built from the same box.
2. ACW zouaves. Not my thing, but the
couple of \'three-ups\' they had on display looked rather nice.

oh man, wenn die perrys das alles rausbringen werde ich arm!!! noch ärmer als jetzt schon!!! wo soll das nur alles hinführen wenn die spirale sich so weiter dreht wie 2009/2010 in sachen plastik/neuerscheinungen allgemein! da weis man ja garnicht mehr wo man anfangen soll!
....setze mich mal an meine perry plastik briten damit die vom tisch kommen ;-)

wieder keine plaste-kavallerie für die nappi-briten...
natürlich können die auch nicht zaubern und haben schon einen beachtlichen output, aber wenn man sich in drölfzig unterschiedlichen ranges verzettelt, sollte man doch merken, dass man nur viel mehr unzufriedene (oder sagen wir nicht ganz zufriedene, die qualität ist ja klasse) kunden für alle möglichen epochen hat, die allesamt warten müssen, um ihre armeen zu vervollständigen oder doch auf zinn ausweichen und sich dann zwei jahre später ärgern, wenn es endlich eine tolle plastikbox gibt...

naja die briten haben ja auch schon klasse metall figuren bei den perrys, und der preis ist bei dem pfund kurs auch mehr als gerecht!!! uss sagen das ich die zinnfiguren preise bei den perrys echt günstig finde!

ich finde nicht so sehr dass sich die perrys \"verzetteln\" in ihren releases (sie bringen ja keine plastik nordmaenner oder spartaner heraus ;)
... sicher waer es schoener fuer manchen wenn sie bei einer range die letzte niesche ausfuellen wuerden ... jedoch ...
plastik \"mahdisten\" macht mehr als sinn denn dies wird ihre gesamte sudan (colonial) range pushen
die zouaves (je nach aussehen und poses) find ich interessant ... vor meinem inneren auge seh ich schon die eine oder andere plastikconversion auf der krim oder in mittel/suedamerica rumhuepfen ...
ich wuenschte mir generell mehr pferde in plastik ... was waer das fuer eine gewichtsersparnis beim tragen :)

natürlich hast du damit recht, sharku - bei perry kostet zinn immer noch nur einen bruchteil dessen, was ich früher bei GW für plastik bezahlt habe (und mittlerweile ist das noch teurer)
aber man braucht auch echt einen haufen figuren für die historischen sachen (das ist mein erstes solches system in 28mm - in 15mm kann man kosten und bemalaufwand bei gleicher figurenmenge besser verkraften :sm_pirate_ugly: )

These were on our stand at Salute (http://www.salute.co.uk/),
arriving perfectly just in time. This begins to show you the variety of
regiments and various dress you can choose between, e.g. Jim\'s painted
four figures of the 4th Hussars in full and campaign dress. The sheet
included in the box shows all 14 French regiments, I would have liked to
include the 1st and 2nd Westphalian Hussars, the Croatian Hussar
regiment, etc., but just ran out of space.

When I painted the first lot, shown here on TMP
last week, I decided to build the horse and rider complete before
painting. This worked surprisingly well. As a construction tip, it\'s
best to glue the sabretache/sword after the figure is mounted on the
horse.
At the moment I\'m working on the plastic Zouaves, metal
French Napoleonic heavy cavalry commanders, A.D.C.s for Ney, and the
\'Red Lancers\' as an intro to the French Imperial Guard cavalry in
metal.
Very shortly we\'ll be adding a free download to our site
for 93 Choson Korean flags for the Imjin War (or Samurai Invasion) of
1592-98. This, as far as I\'m aware, will be the first time this
information has been seen in the West. More of this to follow….

und ich bin immer noch traurig, dass ich nicht im lotto gewonnen habe und unendlich zeit und geld habe.
die perrys sind einfach die besten zinnbedürfnisbefriediger, die ich mir vorstellen kann.
