We are about to release the last of the main infantry elements in our Republican Roman range, the advancing principes. We will be deciding pack details next week but at this stage there would appear to be 6 packs of infantry and a new command set. Some of the packs will be entirely sword armed others with open hands to take either the hasta or pilum. All figures in this release will be in mail but fear not the next set will be in bronze albeit a smaller number of packs.
We glued some swordsmen together to show what they will look like, the arms are all ball and socket joints so can be set at differing angles to increase the variations possible.

Just added to the shop, a new command set for the Republican Romans. This set has four standards one a Cohort standard ( the one with the flag at the bottom). It will also be available as a Principes command with the standard changed for one with a \"P\" on it.

4 more packs of principes justr added this time with spears/pilum.
There will be four more on Monday or Tuesday depending on when supplies of moulds arrive...lol - some of them will have a separate arm holding a pila, arm fitted by way of a ball and socket joint allowing vast range of variations.

Mir wirken die etwas zu klobig, fast pummelig. Und die Bewegungen wirken auch etwas künstlich, trotzdem irgendwie ansprechend.

Ich finde die eigentlich ziemlich gut.
Wie fallen die eigentlich von der Größe aus? Das Hannibal Supplement von WAB ist ja randvoll mit möglichen Verbündeten, so dass das Mischen verschiedener Hersteller ja fast unvermeidbar ist.

ich muss mich Zwerch mit Ohren!!! anschließen. Die wirken wirklich sehr rundlich... Halblinge der Antike sozusagen :D
Aber von den \"Babyface\"-Gesichtern abgesehen sind das ganz nette Modelle.

Wenn ich an die Republikaner denke, die ich von Wargames Foundry bemalt habe, sehen die genauso \"pummelig\" aus... die beiden Ranges scheinen sich auf den ersten Blick sogar super zu ergänzen...
