No,I\'m not making this up folks.Foundry is raising their costs next year! :sm_pirat_censor: The most greedy and expensive wargames miniature company this side of Pluto has put out the farcical excuse that they cannot keep absorbing the costs! :m_pirate_shock: So darn ridiculous you have laugh! :sm_pirate_lol:
Here is the newsletter portion:
Price
Rise
I am afraid that we are
going to have to increase our prices in the near future.
We have not changed our prices now for nearly two and a
half years and during that time we have seen the prices of postage, materials
and services escalate beyond all expectations; the price of metal having almost
doubled in the last twelve months.

We can no longer absorb these costs without changing our
prices.
For those customers living
in the UK we will have to apply an additional increase of two and a half per
cent due to the change in the base rate of VAT.

These are not the glad tidings that we would like to give our
customers at this time of year but needless to say in these difficult times we
will do all we can to keep all increases to a minimum.
Thank heavens most of their recent stuff is pretty crappy and all their best sculptors have left and set up their own companies were we can buy the best at a reasonable price! :sm_pirate_biggrin:
