Hi Everyone,
I\'m thinking of running a Impetus tournament at next years 2012 TTU event:
Tabletops United am 7. und 8. Juli 2012 in München/Dachau (http://sweetwater-forum.de/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=8244)
The event will be themed to one period with each player needing a 300pts. 28mm. army. I know this is early to ask, but I\'m thinking many are like me and need quite a bit of time to prepare.
I\'m thinking warlord type structured armies will work the best as it won\'t matter who your opponent is as the possibility they fought was plausible. What I know I don\'t want is the usual suspects of EIR vs Barbarians, Viking Age England or Punic Wars, but rather something else.
I haven\'t decided on the period yet, but it\'s between these two:
Early Dark Age England(400-800AD)- Romano British, British and Welsh Kingdoms, Franks, Saxons, Picts and Scots-Irish
Sengoku Period Japan(1460\'s -1600)- Samurai, Ikko-ikki, Korean, Ming Chinese
Anybody interested? :)
I may even see if Lorenzo is interested when he gets back from vacation. :)

Hi Christopher,
I owe but I don\'t play IMPETUS.
Is it possible for you to come to the next Südkurve in Erlangen?
If you would do an Intro Demo a lot may follow and make the Munich Event possible

When is the next Südkurve? If I can come then I\'d be more then happy to show anyone. :) If anyone has FOG armies there, then these can easily be used for Impetus allowing players to play whatever army they like to learn. ;)
However, for those without an army I would have Normans and Saxons to use, maybe even Arabs. :)

Dear Christopher,
a new Date for the next Südkurve is yet unknown.
But I\'m very glad that you are eager to teach IMPETUS
I know at least 3 people that would take part in a Demo Game with their armies

Hi Lorenzo,
It\'s early days yet, but I\'m looking at trying to organize a 300pts. 28mm Samurai event for TTU. I\'m looking at the Sengoku Period Japan(1460\'s -1600)- Samurai, Ikko-ikki, Korean, Ming Chinese with each player representing his own personal Warlord/Daimyo where day1 would see individual games and day 2 a big game. I\'d like to introduce a background and events that might influence each game. I would prefer to make it a campaign weekend with players joining a faction as this allows for uneven numbers and a sense of team camaraderie. I\'m waiting to see how many are interested and if enough are then I\'ll start to make serious plans. I figure I need at least 6 or more players to do this and would require a full commitment and not a maybe.
If you and some of your Italian friends join in that would be great as players from all countries are welcome. :)

I should also add I would need quite a bit of support both in terms of people joining and bringing terrain ideal for the period to run a campaign weekend. If it looks like this isn\'t possible then I might just do a demo game with someone instead. Still quite some time before any final decision yet. :)

I can bring houses - i got the whole oshiro terrain here and some houses even twice :) As I paint for the owner I will get every newest release too.

Thank you Stephan and if this happens that will be very, very helpful! :D
