Im Osprey über Streitwägen steht ein Zitat von Herodot über einen Stamm nördlich der Donau mit Streitwägen:
little, snub-nosed, shaggy horses, with hair about four inches long all over their bodies. These horses cannot carry a man, but are very fast in harness, with the result that driving is here the rule
Kenn jemand eine Seite im Web wo man die ganze Textstelle finden kann, oder hat sie zufällig zur Hand? Ich google mich dämlich und finde nichts.
