Artist Peter Dennis has once again worked his magic with both box
covers as the 45th (Sherwood Foresters) regiment of foot marches under
the beating sun of the Iberian Peninsular whilst on the rain-sodden
fields at Waterloo the 2nd Royal Scots head into battle under overcast
skies.

As you can see, a painted regiment wearing trademark stovepipe shakos
is a glorious sight – a sight which no red-blooded Englishmen should be
able to resist! We also expect them to appeal to those of a foreign
persuasion too…

Each box contains 36 miniatures – 30 plastic line infantry troopers,
plus a metal command group of an officer, a sergeant (with separate arms
for wielding cane or spontoon, as you prefer), a pioneer, a drummer and
two ensigns. There are also a selection of full colour paper flags
included for you to complete your companies in style.



Quick to Build

These great new sets are designed to be quick to assemble, being just
3 parts – head, backpack and body – after all you need plenty of men
for Napoleonic battles so you don’t want to spend hours and hours before
you even pick up a paint brush let lone see them on the tabletop!

Flank Companies

We’ve given one in five men ‘swallow’s nest’ epaulettes, denoting
them as members of the flank companies – either Light Companies or
Grenadiers. There are also spare epaulettes that you can use to vary the
pose in your flank companies. Alternatively, the epaulettes are easy to
pare off with a scalpel if you want every man to be in the centre
company.

Vielleicht liegt es meinem eingeschränkten Sichtfeld, aber wer benutzt Warlord Napo Modelle :?:

Also so schlecht finde ich die gar nicht. Nur warum müssen es immer wieder Briten sein. Wieviel Kunstoffsets gibt es jetzt schon von den Briten. Über eine Infantry Box für die Preußen hätte ich mich mehr gefreut, in dem Style. Bei der Landwehr haben die Jungs noch geübt :wacko: .

Ich dachte immer das zwischen Victrix, Perry und Warlord Games eine Art Agreement über die Verteilung der Plastikerscheiningen getroffen wurde. Hier muss ich sogar sagen das sie total überflüssig sind da es bereits genug Boxen gibt zumal Victrix schon deutlich mehr anbietet incl der Flank und Center Varianten und Highlander, ganz zu Schweigen von der fantastischen Aribox. Da noch mehr als genug fehlen würde an Plastikminis finde ich das wiedermal sehr Schwach von Warlord Games.

Decebalus:
Ökonomisches ein mal eins: Wenn Burgerking und McDonalds erfolgreich sind, muss man Hamburger anbieten und nicht Schmalzbrote verkaufen.

Es macht absolut Sinn, dass Warlord Briten anbieten. Briten-Käufer gibt es in Massen, bei anderen Armeen wüsste man das nicht. Und einzigartig sind sie schon darüber, dass sie simpel sind (im Unterschied zu Victrix) und Marschierende (im Unterschied zu Perry) anbieten.
