I\'ll say this,the BF web page only accepts the display of BF miniatures.Where they sponsor a FOW event,I\'m pretty sure they only want to  see BF miniatures.They are more like GW Fantasy/40k with their own system and models to use for it and probably would not allow other mini\'s.They are a buisness and have outgrown the small time \"it\'s a hobby\"area.They want to sell their stuff and make no mistake about it.That said,I still like the company and the folks running it are accessible and that\'s a bonus for such a large wargaming buisness. :)

Here is the good point,we live in Germany and are unlikely to attend BF sponsored FOW tournements ,therefore giving you a chance to try other mini\'s.Before bringing other mini\'s I would suggest you ask the tournement organizer or players you wish to have a game with how they feel on it.In most cases,I think folks won\'t have a problem as long as it looks like what your saying it is and the size is pretty close.The size and bases of BF FOW is important for targeting purposes and so you should all play with the same size mini\'s to level the field.I personally use only BF,but that is of course more expensive then some others you might have in mind.

Again,just ask and see how they feel.

Persönlich mag ich die BF Minis, aber mMn sind die nicht die besten.
Geschmack ist halt sehr subjektiv.
Ich finde die CD Minis sehr schön weil die viele verschiedene \"Poses\" haben, die Uniformen sehen \"echt\" aus. Das heißt für mich das die \"Battleworn\" ausehen, mal Helm, mal side cap, mal Feldmuze, mal rolled sleeves, mal bandolier usw.

Strand:
Ich mische Battlefront und Command Decision-Minis und das funktioniert sehr gut. Das resultiert hin und wieder in einem (nicht ernstgemeinten) blöden Spruch, meine Einheiten wären nicht \"offiziell\", aber leben kann ich damit ganz gut. Vielleicht verliere ich auch einfach oft genug.  ;)

Ich weiss nicht, wie das in der Turnierspielerszene aussieht, habe aber auch noch nichts negatives gehört.

Wir hatten auf der tactica eine ähnliche Diskussion und haben uns köstlich amüsiert über die Erfahrungen von Spielern mit nicht BF-Fahrzeugen, denen vorgehalten wurde, ihre Fahrzeuge währen zu flach  :crazy:

Optisch mag das, was Battlefront macht, ja ganz nett aussehen, ist aber halt eine Verzerrung des Maßstabs.

Bei Turnieren, auch bei den von Battlefront organisierten, veranstalteten, gesponsorten whatever... sind nicht-Battlefront-Minis offiziell erlaubt.
Wenn ein Turnier-Veranstalter behauptet, BF ließe nur eigene Minis zu, lügt er.

Nur auf deren Webseite/Forum darf man keine Bilder von \"Fremdminis\" posten (wobei der eine Skytrex-Panzerkommandant in der vorletzten Reihe oder der PeterPig Sherman im Hintergrund wohl eh keinem auffallen).
