We are pleased to announce the release of our Frankish, Norman or Early Crusader line. Now you can create the Norman army that conquered England at Hastings, those of the brutal Northern French warlords, and the legions of the German emperors. These warriors went on to take the cross and conquer Jerusalem, and these models are perfectly suitable for the First Crusade as well.

We now have all the basic elements of the army - Frankish milites (knights) charging on horseback, mounted command, armoured spearmen (either dismounted milites or elite mercenary foot), and unarmoured pedites spearmen and archers. We\'ve even had a one-piece warlord figurine made, wielding the traditional knotted club of command, perfect to represent such fierce tyrants as William the Conqueror.
Next up in our Millenium (11th century AD) range from Mike Broadbent, who has already made the Nikeforian Byzantines and the Vikings, will be the Anglo-Saxons/Danes, whose massive spear blocks confronted the Vikings at Stamford Bridge and then, fatefully, the Normans at Hastings. Look for them in just a few weeks!
After that, when Mike is next available (we count ourselves as quite lucky to have had this busy sculptor\'s hand to date!), more models will come to fill in the Frankish, Saxon and Viking lines - Frankish crossbowmen and unarmored Frankish cavalry... even Viking and Saxon cavalry.
