Victrix Limited
Victrix Limited is a new company set up by Stephen Hales (Little Big Men Studios and Kingmaker Miniatures) and Julian Blakeney-Edwards (Valiant Miniatures and Kingmaker Miniatures). Our aim is to produce an extensive range of Napoleonic 28mm figure sets in hard plastic.

Our First Project
We have been planning this range for over a year. The challenge has been to produce figure sets that accurately reflect the idiosyncratic nature of Napoleonic uniforms.


Release List
Victrix Limited will release 4 sets of hard plastic 28mm Napoleonic
figures late summer. These sets will be:
VX0001 British Peninsular Infantry Centre Company
VX0002 British Peninsular Infantry Flank Company
VX0003 British Waterloo Infantry Centre Company
VX0004 British Waterloo Infantry Flank Company
Each set will contain 52 figures and will provide gamers and modellers with a great range of useful poses comprising of firing, advancing, loading, marching and kneeling. We will also include officers, sergeants, standard bearers and drummers. However, best of all we will provide numerous separate head and arm options that will allow an amazing amount of combinations and conversion possibilities.
We will also include 2 Regimental and Kings colours in each set. These will be different for each of the four boxes and have been designed by Stephen Hales.
Each box will contain a simple set of exciting fast play infantry rules written by Barry Hilton of the League of Augsburg. We intend to include both cavalry and artillery rules with future releases.
At present all sculpting is complete and we are at the pattern making stage of the project.

We are currently working on the design of the next four sets:

French Napoleonic Line Infantry Centre Company
French Napoleonic Line Infantry Flank Company

Ah, Murphy, gerade hab ich\'s auch gesehen. Die Produktionsdaten sind ziemlich vielversprechend, vor allem da Erfahrung und Talent von Kingmaker und Little Big Men in das Projekt einfließen. Jetzt ist es nur noch eine Frage des Preises. Bei entsprechender Qualität (und die Greens lassen hoffen) könnten sie sogar den Perrys ernsthafte Konkurrenz machen. Vor allem aber durch das Setting könnte Victrix den Perrys den Rang ablaufen: Der Krieg in Spanien scheint doch recht beliebt, und es kommt mir auch deshalb - nach allem, was ich hier aus dem Forum weiß - etwas kurzsichtig von den Perrys vor, sich auf die spätere Zeit einzuschießen. Französische Uniformen vor 1812 z. B. scheinen mir doch \"universeller\".
Na ja, mal abwarten. Peninsular War könnte auch mich reizen... :borg:

Ich habe den link auch gerade gesehen...leider...die Versuchung wächst und wächst....also müssen einige Projekte unbedingt geschlossen und verkauft werden...einfach nur geil. Ich freue mich drauf...
