The action just doesn’t stop here at Warlord, even while John is jetting around the globe to shows like
Historicon 2009 (a smashing time, look for us at Fall-In in November). We now have no less than four brand-new drivers and crew for your brand spanking new(ish) and highly detailed
Bolt Action Jeeps. First off (of course) we have an excellent
British Driver:
Gallant Tommy Atkens as shown here in rolled up sleeves and his tin hat pushed bank and having a crafty fag… Nice day for a drive, just hope you don’t drive past the Sgt Major coming the opposite way!
Shown here in the lovely Bolt Action Jeep the driver will do as a driver for most British soft skins and, of course, can be used for Canadian and Commonwealth forces.
We had some fun with this one as you can see. This driver is taking no chances driving through enemy territory so is clutching his carbine whilst clearly driving at a furious pace. In no way is this inspired by James Caan in the classic war flick, A Bridge Too Far…
To go along with our tooled up US Army driver we’ve got some heavy firepower in the form of our .30 calibre US Army Machine Gunner:
The .30 calibre machine gunner is shown here spraying hot lead at the enemy whilst his driver jinks the jeep around. Paired up with the American driver we think they look a pretty cool team.
Last and certainly not least we have our
Soviet driver. You didn’t think we’d leave out the lend-lease program, did you:
We could have made a dull Russian man looking straight ahead, hands on steering wheel, but that would not have been very Warlord… So our lady Russian driver is caught in mid chat as she turns to have a natter with her companions. Or perhaps she’s looking worried at theprospect of aprallel parking…
All of these great vehicle drivers are now available to stock the vehicle pool of your Allied army of choice in the
Warlord webstore.
