This thread seems to be very old or not up-to-date, but I found a very useful link: It\'s an english-based webstore, which sells Berbers, Hethits, Seapeople and such great stuff. You can get 50 miniatures for only 25pounds (yes, 25 pounds!). Take a look here: http://www.miniaturedesignstudio.co.uk/ For the 50 miniatures-deals you have to select a folk first and after click on \"warband deal\".

I haven\'t missed the site and yes it\'s a great place for building up some biblical armies at a nice price.Thanks for mentioning it.You can add http://www.newlinedesigns.co.uk/to that list of ways to build a Biblical army at a nice price. :thumbup:
I prefer Foundry Biblical miniatures myself,but they cost a small fortune. :pinch: I\'m happy I had a large army to trade and was able to pick up a Foundry Trojan army in exchange. :D I want a Foundry Assyrian army one of these days. :toocool:

Hi,
yes, Foundry Ancient stuff is very great - but very expensive. I am toying with the idea building up a sea people army. But before I have to paint my Assyrian Army (2000 points, all Foundry models). I\'ll use the Fanatic Army Painter because it looks quite cool in the lot and it\'s very very very fast. The army is growin\' bigger and bigger, and I think I\'ll top the 3000-points-mark soon. :thumbup:

I know the army painter is quick.......that\'s why I used it on my Trojans! :D Perfect for all the flesh and quick which is a priority with this army . The shields however,I hand painted as they are the center piece of Trojans.When I paint Assyrians,I won\'t use army painter as their colors work best without it(my opinion).I\'ll post some results soon with the Trojans and I\'m looking forward to seeing your Assyrians. :)

Axebreaker, could you post your armylist for the Myceneans? Would be very interested to see the setup.
How long do you cut the spears for the warbands?

I second Olaf on the Charios, 40mm frontage works much better as you need quite a lot of them. Makes them much more efficient in battle though.
