Now that they are up fro pre-orders on the Victrix page there is some more info and more shots:

Victrix are pleased to announce that set VX0009 Napoleon\'s Old Guard Grenadiersïżœis ready for pre-order.



We expect them to start shipping by 14th February.

This set represents Napoleon\'s Old Guard Grenadiers as they would have looked on many of their campaigns from 1804 to 1815 and full of grizzled, veteran character.



The set contains 60 figures and fast play rules, also included are 8 regimental flags, representing flags of the 1811 and 1812 issue. Positions included in the box are:

4 officers
4 standard bearers
4 drummers
16 firing line, firing, priming and loading
16 march attack with arms fully attached
16 either march attack or advancing at porte/charge



Of course any arm can be used on any figure, giving you the option to make many more positions than listed.

For those who pre-order this set direct from Victrix from now until February 28th, will receive a free flag sheet of the 1815 Imperial Guard flag, issued to the 1st regiment of Grenadiers and 1st Regiment of Chasseurs for the Waterloo campaign.

Also included are 4 porte Fannion arms to make sergeants for your regiments. The 14 individual heads in the set are full of character, reflecting the grizzled nature of Napoleon’s ‘Grognards’

Another aspect of this sets versatility is that you can use heads from set VX0005 French Napoleonic infantry 1807-1812 on the bodies of the Grendiers and create line grenadiers and voltigeurs in greatcoats or regiments of legere in greatcoats. Also by using the Old Guard heads on the Grenadier bodies in set VX0005 you can make Old Guard Grenadiers in campaign dress.

P.S.: Their metal Portugese are up for pre-order as well, but no shots there!

Endlich nur noch die Köpfe ankleben. ich hasse es, wenn die Vorbereitung fĂŒr eine Figur lĂ€nger dauert als die Bemalung oder das Spielen mit ihr.
Schade, dass es in der Packung immer noch verschiedene Posen gibt. ich hÀtte nur marschierende und nicht ein Mix aus allen.

Victrix hat mir bis dato nicht so ganz gefallen, aber die sehen echt schmuck aus..

Sehr, sehr nett! Ich mochte die anderen Victrix Sachen, trotz der dĂ€mlichen Gesichter und diese scheinen mir noch besser geworden zu sein. Die extra march-attack Posen sind ein großer Schritt nach vorne und die Umbaumöglichkeiten betteln um mehrere Boxen. Gekauft!

nein die modelle kommen echt gut daher, und wenn die so gecasted werden sehe ich echt malnen verkaufsschlager... sm_party_box

Ich bin ein totaler Victrixfan und die neue Box macht da keine Ausnahme. Ich werde mir die Eiheit auf jedenfall zu legen.
