Napoleonic Impetus games
Hi Lorenzo (?),ZitatNapoleonic Impetus games ?Is it official ?
I plan to release a first dtraft of the rules, as well as a draft of army lists for France, Austria, Great Britain, Russia, Prussia and Spain within 2-3 weeks. Il will be a pdf supplement (to use in conjunction with Impetus) at first. But it will be released a complete rulebook possibly in 2011.when the final book will be released I think I will dedicate a full page in the appendix to basing, to explain that you should be free to use what you have already and in case how adapt.Grandeur uses square bases (ideally: 12x12cm for 28mm, 8x8cm for 15mm and 6x6 or 4x4 for 6mm). Well you can use 28mm on 8x8 and use 15mm distance. If you have 3cm frontage unit well use 2 or 3 of them and make 6cm or 9cm units, really nothing change.I\'m basing some old 6mm into 4x4cm bases (infantry and cavalry) and 2x2 for artillery (2x3 is the same), but I consider this an alternative to the \"standard\" 6x6cm (artillery at 3x3cm).While with 6x6cm you can use the normal distances (1cm=1U), with 4x4 probably halving the distance could be more correct in term of scales, even if I will test with both options (1U=0.5cm is boring).
I\'m particularly inspired lately and before going to sleep I\'m developping the first draft of the Napoleonic variant of Impetus. It will be a Grand Tactical game where a unit is a Brigade (but can be scaled up to a Division for big battles) and at the moment it works only with Impetus as an engine.Soon I will need some beta testers.
