Hallo!

Folgendes hat heute Rob Broom im WAB Forum verkündet

Book written, needs final rigourous checking and some scenarios done and then a re assessment for WAB 2 to change special rules along with a tidy of the early period lists. However despite being a fully commissioned author with paperwork (and draft manuscript part submitted - admittly to myself when I was there but it was done!), all I have heard is nothing, except that others in the public domain have been told the project has been dumped so you know more than me!

With that in mind the following will probably happen

The lists will be finished and placed into the public domain as at least one magazine has expressed interest.

I will do a Samurai only period set of rules and publish them. Which will probably end up becoming a wider set of Ancients/Medieval rules. This is quite likely as people are interested in those and no doubt the lists will be easy to convert to WAB. No doubt there will be more discussion on the Scarab forum about this as this forum is not the place to have that conversation

ich denke es sollten eh mehr unoffiziele listen renomierter autoren gespielt werden.....

Das ist mit WAB nie ein Problem gewesen    .

If Robb completes this in a WAB format then in my opinion it will only be technically unofficial and I don\'t think it will be hard to get these lists into official tournaments on request due to the background author and where it\'s coming from.

Wer gibt Warhammer Historical das Recht, nur deren Sachen \"offiziell\" zu nennen ?

Doch nur wir Blödmänner von Spielern.

Wir hier beim Comitatus spielen beinahe so viele Regelsets wie wir Spieler haben und alles sind im dem Moment \"offiziell\".

Und nachdem keiner von uns auf diesen \"offiziellen Tournaments\" spielt (auch nicht bei GW), erübrigt sich die Diskussion für uns.

Her mit den Samurai-Regeln vom Robb, wir spielen sie allemal, und gerne.

GW schafft das in 100 Jahren nicht, da was Vernünftiges zustande zu bringen (sieht man ja leider bei den anderen Regelsets wie \"Over the Top\").

To qualify as \"official\" it has to published or sanctioned by GW overall.

Now,in regards to WAB 1.5 and WAB 2.0 all previous supplements and AoA\'s are official and are only replaced if updated.

Robb\'s Divine Wind will always be technically \"unofficial\" unless he publishes it with GW/FW or has it sanctioned by GW if he does through another outlet.All of that is very unlikely and understandably so.

However,here is the positive in that he can always put it in the unofficial forums or publish it with another magazine/book in which he indicated he will.Also,when any tournament is run I really doubt any organizer will object to Robb\'s material being allowed unless perhaps it\'s directly run by a GW staff which again is unlikely.With this in mind once Robb puts it out there it will be \"official\" without technically being so in my opinion.

As you noticed,I didn\'t even bother to mention in club gaming as we can do what we please.

So,I\'m just happy as a pig in manure that Robb will be putting it out in some form!! :sm_pirate_biggrin: :sm_pirate_biggrin: :sm_pirate_biggrin: :sm_pirate_biggrin:

Wenn Robb dies schon unter 1,5 entwickelt hat, also letztlich im Auftrag von GW wundert es mich das er über die Ergebnisse der Arbeit weiter verfügen und sie veröffentlichen darf. Da wird es auch rechtlich bedenklich wenn \"seine\" Regeln denen von GW/FW so sehr ähneln das man Armeelisten übernehmen kann. Ich bin mal gespannt ob das gut geht.

Mir soll es recht sein, wenn es da keine Beschwerden gibt  :thumbup: . Es wundert mich ein wenig beim Ruf des Herstellers, aber im Ancient Zweig war der Verein bislang ja immer schon etwas freundlicher.

Rise of Rome Listen?! Was genau verbirgt sich dahinter (wenn man fragen darf)?

Rise of Rome war als Erweiterungsbuch geplant, ist aber aus irgendwelchen Gründen nicht zu Stande gekommen, man munkelt die Qualität war schlecht   . Der Autor hat sich in Folge an ein Magazin gewandt (oder umgekehrt) und publiziert die Listen nun dort. Falls du dich mehr informieren willst, Ghibelline hat bereits 2 Reviews bezüglich der Listen hier gepostet.
