Warlord Games

An absolute must for any Roman player (and for anyone fancying a challenge on the painting front) is this resin sculpt of a Roman General and his trusty warhound. We simply had to have it cast in resin to maintain such a fine level of detail – as detailed a 28mm miniature as you’re likely to see!

This superb sculpt blew us away when we first saw it and can easily imagine the General commanding his troops or, perhaps, leading a cavalry charge deep into the flanks of the barbarian horde!

From the finely sculpted breastplate and wolf fur lined cloak to the collar on his faithful warhound, this model exudes character and leadership from every surface.

This model is simply so grand we just had to produce him resin. We will, in the future, make the model in metal but for those who want the model in allo it’s detailed glory here;s your chance!

Fantastische Details, Brustpanzer und Beinschienen sind echte Highlights. Leider ist das Modell sehr statisch geraten und auch nicht realistisch proportioniert - die Hand am Schwert z.B. ist schlicht sinnfrei. Gerade für ein Filmmodell wäre da sicher mehr gegangen. Der Hund ist ebenfalls ziemlich misslungen. Wirkt auf mich wie ein wuscheliger Scooby-Doo.

Muss in den Tenor mit einstimmen, kann mich mit dem Hund nicht wirklich anfreunden.

Die Mini sieht echt super aus, besonders die Ornamente auf der RĂĽstung sind klasse gelungen, naja der Hund ist halt Geschmackssache.
Aber ich frage mich echt, warum die Filmfiguren in eine Geschichtssereie aufnehmen oder auch Figuren wie den Vamphyr, bei den WW2 deutschen.

Ich kann der Figur nicht viel abgewinnen - ok sie hat Ornamente auf dem Panzer, aber die Pose wirkt verkrampft und unnatĂĽrlich. Ein sehr treffender Kommentar aus dem LAF-Forum war \"Why is it sculpted in 2D?\".
Von dem seltsamen Hund fange ich lieber gar nicht an.  :rolleyes:

Das kann Warlord normalerweise besser.

Mir gefällt die Miniatur sehr gut, es wird Zeit mal wieder den passenden Video einzuwerfen    .
