The new releases just keep rolling in from Architects of War and they are just as lovely as ever! This week they add one of the most useful elements in any 28mm wargame – hedge and wall section. The latest new releases from Architects of War bring you some of the most useful elements for the wargames table. There are very few battlefields that won’t benefit from the addition of these beautifully overgrown wall and hedgerow sections. But, don’t take our word for it – check them out below.
 

This Hedge Row set is an excellent representation of a generic old growth hedge row that separates fields and pastures all over temperate-climated areas. This set is intended for general use for nearly every period from ancients to modern times. It contains three straight sections, a straight section with a handy angled end, and two 90 degree curves. They can be laid out in an almost infinite variety and also used to border fields and buildings. The Hedge Row set provides you with forty inches of overgrown embankments. How to build your Architects of War Hedgerow set.

The Overgrown Stone Wall set adds lots of character to our Hedge Row set. It’s a timeless set that can be used for just about any period and is nice to add to a village or farm scene. You can paint it a number of ways for arid, temperate, or even winter scenes. The set includes two 9″ sections of wall, one with an interlock connector for our other stone wall sets (that will be available in September) and two trees. The set includes tree armatures and shrubbery material – complete instructions (PDF) for building and painting these pieces can be downloaded below:

32 Pfund für das obrige Set und 18 Pfund für die Mauern.

32GBP für 40\" ist kein Schnäppchen aber es sieht ziemlich cool aus. Wäre interessant zu wissen wieviel von dem foliage Zeug dabei ist und wie stabil das Endergebniss ist. Ist auf jeden Fall einen Versuch wert.

Billig ist es nicht, und so schwer selber zu machen auch nicht, aber es kostet eben eine Menge Zeit. Ich denke, so viel Foliage ist für die Büsche dabei, wie man es auf dem Bild sieht. Die Bäume haben es schin drauf.
