Tach die Herrschaften, :hutab:

mit erscheinen der heiĂź ersehnten Force on Force Regeln wollte ich wieder mal ausloten wie denn in Berlin
so das Interesse am Spiel als solches ist und auch welcher Maßstab für Euch am interessantesten wäre.

Momentan habe ich eine Truppe afrikanischer Milizen / Freiheitskämpfer / Warlord-Truppen (je nach Betrachter)
von ca. 30 Mann in 28mm spielfertig und kampferprobt.
Da ich gerne auch mal NATO / Warschauer Pakt oder Nahost-Konflikte spielen wĂĽrde, mit einigen Vehikeln dazu,
wäre für mich wg. Geländeverfügbarkeit, Kosten- und Bemalzeitfaktor 15mm momentan für mich am interessantesten.

Wie sieht es bei Euch aus ?

FoF: auf alle faelle und ueberhaupt und sowieso! .. das erinnert mich an meine 2 jahre alte anfrage an interesse an ak47 republic

zu FoF hab ich einiges an modern in petto aber alles in 20mm und 1/72 (gods chosen scale !)
cold war africa oder banana republic, cold war europe, balkan oder kaukasus wars ...

allerdings:
FoF SciFi Tomorrows War werd ich weiter in 15mm verfolgen ... auch der ideale masstab und eine menge an tollen figuren
wenn du lust hast .. wolfslord und ich spielen diese woche noch ein testgame TW

also ich habe meine SAS ja noch rumliegen, und sobald es konrete pläne gibt regeln etc male ich die schnell an und los gehts!!! 28mm würde ich am besten finden!

2x SAW-Gunner
ggf. noch ein Sniper-Team und einen extra AnfĂĽhrer

Dann bist auf jeden Fall gewappnet, sei es nun Force on Force oder Flying Lead.

I am the lead author on the Cold War Gone Hot supplement for Force on Force. It is due for publication later this year. The book will have three main divisions:

1) Cold War Fears…this is a collection of essays, scenarios and stats for what we thought was going to happen. E.g., Fulda Gap, Soviet breakthroughs, etc. The main thrust of these scenarios is getting back into the mindset that existed during the 1980s when NATO and the US were trying to figure out a way to survive the Soviet/Pact superiority in numbers.

2) Cold War Realities…this section will focus on what we know today about the 1980s. The declassification of documents on both sides shows that the Soviet Union was a lot tougher on paper than in reality. Think, The Bear Went Over the Mountain applied to all the likely theaters of conflict. Would the Soviets have been able to achieve a breakthrough? How would the Warsaw Pact forces handle a major slugfest with NATO?

3) Cold War Hollywood. We all have our favorite movies and books…we’re taking it one step further and writing scenarios in that vein. If you’re a fan of fictional encounters like Ice Station Zebra and Red Storm Rising, you won’t be disappointed.

The book will feature scenarios for all budgets. There will indeed be a few “armor park” scenarios as one might expect for the Cold War, but there will be plenty of special ops, infantry slugfests and whatever other coolness we choose to throw in the book. In addition, we’ll be focusing on TO&Es for the major NATO and Warsaw Pact forces, vehicle listings, historiography, and bibliography. Work is progressing nicely and the team we’ve assembled has put together some good stuff so far.

Ich habe ja auch schon eine kleine Gang (7-8 Figuren) an afrikanischen Milizen fertig wäre als mit dabei

fĂĽr Cold War halte ich mich aber dann vermutlich lieber an den 6mm MaĂźstab..wobei es ja schöne NVA´ler in 28mm gibt  :rolleyes:

Mit den NVAlern von Mongrel bin ich auch am liebäugeln, nur leider kein RPG oder HMG dabei. :crygirl:
6mm Cold War werde ich doch erst mal meiden... (bis nächsten Monat) der Maßstab ist mir glaube ich doch zu klein.

Wie xoth ja schon angemerkt hat bin ich auch sehr angetan von FoF. Allerdings bleibe ich sowohl fĂĽr Modern als auch fĂĽr Scifi bei 15mm, nicht nur wegen Preis/Leistung/Zeit, sondern weil ich mir das Spiel auch schlecht mit 28mm vorstellen kann.

@HeinzKnitz, eine 15mm Scifi Truppe kann ich dir zur VerfĂĽgung stellen, wenn du mal mitspielen willst. Kann dich auch bezĂĽglich Hersteller beraten. Eine groĂźe Truppe also 36 Mann (mit support weapons) kostet dich hier ca. 20 Dollar. Das ist dann aber auch kein Billighersteller, sondern sehr gute Figuren von Khurasan.

Modern in 15mm wäre ich auch mit einer kleinen Truppe dabei. Das Setting wäre noch zu klären. Cold War gone hot klingt gut, Mogadishu u.ä. ist

Zwei Fireteams ? Das ist ja putzig Drei (Veteranen Truppen) bis fĂĽnf (Trained) pro Seite sollten da schon auf das Feld und ein paar Fahrzeuge, was uns wieder zum Preis/Zeit/Leistung von 15mm bringt.

ich glaube heinz meinte da wirklich nur zum ueberhaupt anfangen mit spielen .. und eher in richtung flying lead
du hast schon recht ... fuer FoF sollte man ein klein wenig mehr aufstellen, ansonsten ist man zu stark auf ganz bestimmte scenarien /und/oder asymetric beschraenkt

ich hab hier im zinnberg noch ein platoon von eureka russen liegen die ich nur mal anmalen muesste um die fulda gap mit SCUDs zu beschiessen
