Der größte Erfolg war natürlich beim Kampf um die Bar Bill die Engländer zu schlagen indem man sie auf ein Bier einlädt!

5. Platz von 7! Wir sind ja nicht hingefahren um zu gewinnen, dann hätten wir maximiert was das Zeug hält, das war uns aber zu blöd. Gewinnen wär natürlich toll gewesen geb ich zu  :D. Manche Leut haben richtig assige Armeen aufgefahren. Hatten wir nicht nötig.

Gabriel Flavius:
Straßburg war wie immer super. Chris und ich werden nächstes Jahr auch wieder dabei sein. Wir werden diese oder nächste Woche unser Tagebuch zusammenschneiden und hier einstellen.

Das mit dem Ausreitzen war nur bei ein paar wenigen so schlimm. Das größere Ärgernis war mehr, dass die Franzosen generell nicht so besonders regelfest sind. Was besonders absurd war, wenn sie selbst dem Author Martin Gibbins nicht glaubten.  :wacko:

Axebreaker:
I enjoyed meeting new people and talking to some old faces again. The people were quite nice although translations and misunderstanding sometimes slowed things, but that\'s to be expected. I was only able to try my army once before going and so I was pleasantly surprised how well things went for me on the tables. More then anything I was very happy and grateful my army was chosen best painted as I felt there were quite a few very nice looking armies there.

As far as the armies I saw there then one could say all gloves were off more or less and most were made to win. This is fine as everyone can play their armies how they see fit. However, in the last couple years I discovered I prefer campaign weekends over tournaments where the story and background is more the focus then pure results.

I liked the idea of teams and thought it was very interesting and enjoyed following all the teams progress, however I do think mixing teams and singles together in the same tournament isn\'t the way to go. I may go back next year, but only if I\'m part of a team if they run teams again that is.
