Spätes 11. Jahrhundert irgendwo in Spanien, Rodrigo Diaz De Vivar betritt die Bühne

Eine Christian Spain Army hab ich ja mit Hilfe meines Normannen/Ostfranken Baukasten schon öfter gespielt. In Straßburg will ich aber mit ner Armee antreten, die nach mehr aussieht. Zudem hat mir der gute Abbot Amaury seine fantastischen Minis verkauft und die wollen gespielt werden. Meine jämmerlichen Teile kommen natürlich nicht an seine ran, aber da muß man schmerzfrei sein :whistling:

Man erkennt gewisse Qualitätsunterschiede :wacko:

Aber jetzt müssen noch ein paar Minis angemalt werden um die Armee noch mehr zu spanifizieren ... Hidalgos, Jinets etc.

Gebaut wird die Army nach der Age of El Cid Liste

1 Cantador

14 Cabaleros Hidalgos
14 Caballeros

3 x 12 Peones & 12 Arqueros
10 Skirmishers

13 Andalusian Jinetes
11 Basque Javelinmen

Die Figuren stammen von Crusader, Perry, Foundry, Gripping Beast

Bis zum September sind ein Standartenträger der Peones, der Armeestandarten Träger, 13 Jinetes und 5 Hidalgos zu bemalen. Sprotlich aber machbar.

Ahh how nice! :) I\'ll see you there with my El Cid army although my differs from yours a bit in that mine is completely mounted and not lead by the Cid himself. Perhaps we can compare experiences. ;) Great period is it not! 8) 8)

You are not planning to play the ElCid Charakter from the book, do you?  :whistling:  It the most unbalanced und lamest character in the whole WAB supplements, even worse then the Konung and the Dux, and should only be played if your opponent agrees

:huh: I would ask to please re-read what I said Berherd. I said my army is \"not\" lead by the Cid himself. You wrote down that yours was. ;)

I\'m using the El Cid miniature for my Infante. I would  never use the ElCid from the Book WS 7, 4 Attacks, Toughness 4. Thats completly crazy.
