The 4th Alabama was part of Laws Brigade of Hoods Division during Gettysburg and like most of Hoods division saw heavy fighting and fought in virtually all the battles of the Army of
Northern Virginia with a notable exception of Chancellorsville.
The figures are the characterful 25mm Sash and Saber range and are done using AP with additional highlights added. They are based up 2 a base to accommodate both Fire and Fury and Guns at Gettysburg.

die figuren sind persönlich nicht so mein fall, finde die nicht so schick! aber mit deiner bemalung holst du super viel aus dem feuer für mich^^ sieht richtig gut aus das regiment!

Dislike the figures, but the paintjob is as always very nice  :thumbup: .  Did you use the Army painter strong tone (highlight with base colour?) ?

Thanks guys! I appreciate the nice words and as to liking or not liking the figures is no problem and it\'s good thing for us that so many companies do ACW that eventually some range will work for everybody.

Yes I did use strong tone. The highlights were the base colour again plus one more additional highlight making two highlights. One could say these are fully painted miniatures with AP more or less used as a shading step rather then a complete process. I saved very little time and in fact after I added the AP it was hard to see which brown/grey I used! The next unit I do will be without army painter to compare both time and finished results to see if it\'s even worth using any more on other units.
