absolutly right there christopher! ... pictures are not the finished product
but looking at these models i guess they have to make \"multipart\" metal moulds which would be a major improvement for the quality of the finished product
... i am just excited for any of the more \"artisticly\" orientated companies to try venture into plastics  :party:

on the other hand i prefer metal to plastic but in case of no other option i have no problem with buying non metal minis or vehicles
... even painted a lot of strelets (some of their better models) and made my peace with painting soft plastic after 25 years ;) .. at least its not vinyl! never go back to that stuff

Ähem, HdR sollen zu den schlechtesten Plastikfiguren gehören? Da habt ihr aber noch keine wirklich schlechten Figuren gesehen, z.B. von Strelets, HYTTY, BUM usw.
Vom digitalen Modellieren halte ich nichts. Man sieht es, dass die Figuren nicht von Hand modelliert wurden.

Doch habe ich. Weichplastikfiguren sind für mich aber eine andere Kategorie.

Ob per Hand oder nicht, wichtig ist dass die Minis gut aussehen.

Decebalus:
Ich bin zwar nicht so sehr für Plastik, möchte aber ein Argument für Plastikfiguren nennen:

- Plastikfiguren (Hartplastik 18mm) lassen sich wesentlich besser mit der Spraydose grundieren.

Das hat wohl zwei Gründe: 1. Haben sie weniger Unterschneidungen, in die Farbe nicht kommt. 2. Scheint das \"wärmere\" Plastik weniger zum Fließen der Grundierung zu führen.
Jedenfalls muss man bei Metallfiguren entweder doppelt solange sprühen oder gleich ewig lang mit dem Pinsel nacharbeiten.
