Alles in allem ziemlich enttäuschend, naja, mal abwarten, vielleicht tut sich noch was bis zur eigentlichen Veröffentlichung... :wacko:

Are you ready for the world’s first 28mm hard plastic multi-pose WWII Germans? We’re overjoyed to finally be able to unveil the first Bolt Action plastics. We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes making sure you not only have the trademark character and dynamism but also stacks of options for building and equipping your soldats! Perfect for fighting across the claustrophobic hedgerows of Normandy, the inhospitable Russian front, the rugged hillsides of Italy and the final, desperate defence of Berlin…
 

As you can see we’ve spared no expense to make our first Bolt Action plastics the best plastic miniatures we’ve done so far.
 We are working furiously to get these miniatures to you, and hope to have them available before the summer ends. We haven’t firmed up the box contents or prices just yet, but rest assured you will be getting a ton of miniatures for your money!
 

They say a picture is worth a thousand words but who would have thought that we could coax such excellent detail into these models? From the straps on the boots, to the entrenching tool (and last-ditch head basher!), to the severe military haircut, our 28mm plastic German soldats will serve you well.
 

This boxed set will feature two different and finely detailed plastic sprues – one containing weapons and the other holding bodies, heads, arms, etc.
 Each body sprue has five poses, eight different heads, and more arms than you will know what to do with. We’ve also added more heads than you need to allow for a wide variety within your army – helmets, field caps, officers caps and helmets with wire netting. Their equipment will be optional, and can be glued on in all varieties of ways. They wear gaiters and short boots (copied from the British, in fact…).
 Not only that, the heads are fully interchangeable with metal heads from the existing Bolt Action range, making possible a truly unfathomable number of combinations!
 

Best of all, the separate weapons sprue holds a veritable arsenal of weaponry and equipment – far more than you’ll need for each squad. Again this allows for a bewildering level of customisation in your army as well as providing some excellent modelling opportunities – the standard issue Kar98K rifle is included in numbers, but also versions with a bayonet attached and another with sniper scope. For the NCOs an MP40 sub-machine gun has been added and (because they’re too cool not to include) an StG44 assault rifle! Add to this an MG34, an MG42, a semi-automatic GW43, and you`ve got some serious firepower. To finish it off, we have stick grenades, a panzerfaust, field glasses, Walther P38 pistol, etc. which so liberally equipped German squads in most theatres of the war.
 

These models will be available soon and you can be that we’ll have much more to say about them and show off before then. Make sure that you ask our very own John Stallard about our new plastics at Historicon at stand 40 in the Valley Forge Convention Plaza in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, USA on July 8th-11th – he’ll have sprues and 3-ups to hand!

These Germans are the first of a whole new range of WWII 28mm multi-pose plastic infantry, but there are more to come soon – the Germans will need someone to fight, after all…

Schaut doch recht gut aus, vom Preis her kann wahrscheinlich nur BTD mithalten mit dem Unterschied das man eine BAM Bestellung auch bekommt    .  Sollte ich je ein WWII projekt in 28mm beginnen sind diese Minis sicherlich eine gute Option   .

Es wundert mich schon lange, dass der 2.WK noch nicht in Plastik erschienen ist. Die Mini sieht ja auch schon sehr gut aus, hoffentlich kommt da noch mehr. Ist schon bekannt, wie viele Minis da drinn sind und was der Spass kostet?
Hab zwar grad in 1/72 angefangen, aber jetzt ist 28mm nochmal eine Ăśberlegung wert.

Das meine ich aber auch.
Wer auf Detailreichtum wert legt, sollte beim altbewährten Metall bleiben. Es gibt eben nur wenige Firmen die durch langjährige Erfahrung auf dem Plastikmarkt dort ebenso gute Qualität liefern können wie bei den Zinnminis. Selbst die Perry Plastics sind nicht mit Perry Metallminis vergleichbar  :rolleyes:
Plastik hat mich noch nie wegen dem Detail angesprochen sondern einfach nur wegen dem Preis. Zwar wünschte ich es mir eine Hochdetaillierte Zinn Armee zu haben (zumal ich mir bei Zinn Minis mehr Mühe gebe, wohlmöglich da diese durch das Gewicht einfach sehr viel Wertvoller wirken), nur kann ich mir sowas nicht leisten. Ergo nehme ich lieber die weniger detaillierten udn manchmal flach wirkenden Plastikminiaturen.

Sieht doch nicht schlecht aus. Wie schon gesagt wurde, hat Plastik nie den gleichen Detailreichtum wie Metall, und dafĂĽr sieht es schon sehr gut aus. GegenĂĽber den BAM Metall Deutschen ist es mE sogar eine Verbesserung - denen sieht man ihr Alter schon deutlich an (Heer), aber das ist natĂĽrlich Geschmackssache.

Mir passen diese News durchaus sehr gut.

Der Landser macht schon einen sehr guten Eindruck und gerade der Gussrahmen mit den Waffen freut mich besonders.

Bin gerade dabei einen deutschen Grenadier-Zug für die \"Rules of Engagement\" von BAM und WW zu bemalen. So kommt es mir dann sehr geelgen, wenn ich für Änderungen oder Erweiterungen in der Aufstellung auf diese Minis zurückgreifen kann. Gerade das \"Wechseln\" von spezifischen Waffen ist halt bei den Metallminis meist leider nicht möglich.

Ich finde den ziemlich detailreich, der muss sich vor den meisten Zinnminis nicht verstecken. Ich freue mich auf die Amis und es wäre toll die Russen zu kriegen. Mein Traum wäre, wenn sie die komplette Range aus Plastik raus bringen würden, denn dann hätte ich auch die Polen ^^ aber das ist doch eher unwahrscheinlich.

Mir gefällt gerade der Waffengußrahmen. Da kann man sich die Trupps nach der Armeeliste zusammenstellen. Ist ja schon manchmal ärgerlich, wenn man sich einen 4er Metallblister holen muss, obwohl man nur eine einzige Panzerfaust daraus braucht.

Ich hoffe mal, die bringen auch Russen aus Plastik. Davon kann man nie genug haben.

Also was BAM in letzter Zeit alles auf die Beine stellt ist wirklich beeindruckend.
Wenn das in dem Tempo weiter geht Hut ab !

Plastik fĂĽr WWII toll. Die Figur sieht schonmal gut aus freue mich auf mehr.

Der WaffenguĂźrahmen ist super und lässt sich vielseitig verwenden.

They look nice :sm_pirate_thumbs1: ,but it makes no sense to make 28mm plastic WWII as by far most games in this period and scale do not require a lot of figures. :sm_pirat_confused:
I think AWI,SYW,Warring States Chinese,Italian Wars, or anything that requires 100+ figures to even get started would have been a better idea.

Ich denke BAM/WG zielen auch auf die GW-Kunden ab. Es wĂĽrde mich nicht wundern, wenn die Plasteminis mit den Cadianern und evtl. den Catachanern kompatibel sind.

Dann würden sie bestimmt eine Menge verkaufen können.

Das halte ich fĂĽr unwahrscheinlich, denn dann sind sie nicht mehr kompatibel mit den Zinnfiguren von BAM.

mmmhhhh, die minis an sich finde ich echt ok. aber brauche ich wirklich den landser mit dem ultimativen \"rambo-gesichtsausdruck\" ? wenn ich ww2 mache hätte ich gerne normale minis und keine armee aus \"filmdeutschen\" denen der hass und die kampeslust am gesicht abzulesen ist. sorry, aber das wäre ein grund für mich sie nicht zu kaufen. ein scheißehaufen in der hose wäre wahrscheinlich realistischer als der \"protowarrior-verschnitt\".
