Gerade lese Ich....

ARATH:
\"Beruflich\" lese ich gerade Aurelius Augustinus: De civitate dei, auf Deutsch die Thimme-Übersetzung (1800 Seiten).
Privat Ungvari, Krisztian: Die Schlacht um Budapest 1944/45; sehr detailreich geschilderte Fassung der Vorgeschichte und der 102 Tage dauernden Belagerung und dem erbärmlichen Ausbruchversuch, sowie dem Schicksal der Juden seit der Übernahme der Regierung durch die Pfeilkreuzler.
Alles in allem aber nicht langatmig (470 Seiten).
Danach werde ich wohl Angenendt, Arnold: Toleranz und Gewalt - Das Christentum zwischen Bibel und Schwert, lesen (590 Seiten).
Ich melde mich dann in zwei Jahren wieder, wenn ich die drei durch habe ;) .

Interesting thread. :) I\'m in the process of reading a couple books at the same time plus some wargames rules.I\'m a fan of historical fiction,historical non-fiction,and epic fantasy.
My favorite author is George R. R. Martin a writer of gritty,hard edged epic fantasy.Other writers I like in this genre are Steven Erikson,Joe Abercrombie,Brian Ruckley who all tend towards the darker epic fantasy and Robert Jorden (his first 5 anyways) and of course J R.R. Tolkein for your traditional good vs Evil epic fantasy.In historical fiction I\'m a big fan of Bernard Cornwell and I enjoy Simon Scarrow as well.Also, a special mention to Stephen King be it fantasy or horror.There are other author\'s I like of course,but all those listed above are my top ones. :thumbsup:

Anyways,I digress, back to your main point.I\'m reading Bernard Cornwell\'s Azincourt and Stephen Kings Dark Tower,FOW rulebook, Scanario books and (pant :blackeye: )Ospreys and books on uniforms for FOW and AWI.With my new daughter of one year I\'ve had to compact alot of things and I don\'t get a chance to read as often as I used too.I used to read almost daily,but now it\'s more like 2 or 3 times a week. :whistling:

im Moment lese ich 2 Bücher,
Vaterland von xy Robert Harris.
Dies Werk ist einzigartig weil es auf realistische Weise davon ausgeht das deutschland den 2wk gewinnt, und einen düsteren Krimi/spionage/wieauchimmer in dieser zeit ansiedelt, er malt ein realistisches zukunftsbild das seine guten Studien der Geschichte zeigt.
kann ich nur empfehlen

und runcimans kreuzzüge müsste auch noch rumliegen, aber das empfehle ich ja eh jedem bei jeder Gelegenheit :D

All of that I already knew,but I did not know his pistol was photographed and ended up for exhabition(I assume). :)
