Was Thomas sagt, deckt sich mit meinem Kenntnisstand. Für Alexanders Zeit ist also das, was man an Schilden im Zvezda-Kavallerieset findet, unpassend, aber für deine Zeit passt es!
Hellenistische Truppen (egal auf welcher Seite): nimm ruhig die gleichen Minis, wenn die Ausrüstung passt! Da würde ich dann eher durch Bemalung differenzieren.

Nee, ich spiele dessen Schlachten, aber mit den Armeen halt auch noch ne Weile weiter.

Ich war nur verwirrt durch den Hinweis auf Pydna.
Ich möchte die Schlacht von Heraclea als Anhaltspunkt für das zweite Etappenziel verwenden, was für Dich dann ja auch als Quelle dienen könnte.
Im englischen Wikipediaeintrag gibt es ein OoB dazu
Epirus
Commander: Pyrrhus

    3,000 hypaspists under Milon command
    20,000 phalangites, Epirotes including 5,000 Macedonian soldiers given by Ptolemy
    6,000 Tarentine levy hoplites
    4,000 horsemen, including the Thessalian contingent and 1,000 Tarentine horsemen
    2,000 archers
    500 Rhodian slingers
    20 war elephants with towers holding troops.

Roman Republic
Commander: Publius Valerius Laevinus

    Infantry: Approximately 8 legions divided into:
        4 legions of Roman citizens each consisting of 4,200-5,000 infantry for a total of 20,000 infantry;
        4 legions of Allies: alae of socii (Italian allies, who were placed at the wings of the line) for a total of 16,800
        Bruttians, Campanian allies: 2400 Light infantry[11]

    Cavalry; two different accounts:
        600 Equites (Roman cavalry)[8] and 1,800 allied Italian cavalry,[12] amounting to a total of 2.400,[9] some of which are placed in defense of the camp (castrum) and took no part in the initial fighting.
    Other sources put the cavalry at 6,000 total composed as follows:
        Roman Cavalry 1200
        Allied Legion Cavalry 3600
        Southern Italian Cavalry 1200 (Light Cavalry)

Man kann also ne Menge Kavallerie aufstellen.
