Ach die waren eher schnell bemalt .

Gibt es in der neuen Edition neue Regeln für Einheitengrößen oder wie kommst du auf die 10x3?
Ich hatte meine warbands meistens mit 7x4 oder 7x5 gespielt. 7x4 kann einen schnell mal einen Rang kosten aber es sieht gut aus.

Gerüchteweise darf man im Normalfall in der neuen Edition nur noch 3 tief aufstellen.

Will man 30 Mann haben (FBIGO) muss man halt 10 breit aufstellen

Würde ich als Regel ganz gut finden weil es schicker aussieht.

Ich denke das die kompletten Nahkampfregeln dann entsprechend angepaßt werden.

Dio du hast/hattest eine Mykener Armee? Gibt\'s davon auch igendwo Bilder? Wie hattest du die denn bebased? Einzeln, zu viert auf 40x40 oder wie?

Hatte, und Bilder gibt es davon keine mehr. Die waren alle einzeln gebased, was ziemlich unbequem zu handhaben ist. Den \"Stein der Weisen\" für basierungen habe ich aber auch noch nicht gefunden .
Assyrische Streitwagen brauchen wahrscheinlich 6-7cm front. Tiefe ist nicht so wichtig. Mußt du mal zusammenbauen und abmessen.

Für die assyrischen (schweren) Streitwagen wäre mein Tipp 60x80mm

Also ich weiß, wo die Armee von Tom geblieben ist-jedenfalls die unbemalten 8o  iiiiiiin-meiner Grabbelkiste-solln nächstes Jahr bemalt werden-je 1500 P. Mykenen/Troer.
Also zum transportieren sind die wirklich grenzwertig-ich nehm diese großen Schaumeinlagen zum selberrauspusseln-oder in die Teekiste-mit Magneten.
Diese spassige Hethiterarmee habe ich in ähnlicher Aufstellung-mit 22 chariots und dem Fußfolk-deshalb verkaufe ich jetzt Armeeteile-bis 1500 P. gehts ja noch mit aufstellen, danach muß schon viel Platz her-und mehr Zeit-aber für mich ist es ebenfalls die interessanteste Zeit-schade, daß es da kaum bis keine Filme zu gibt-Streitwagenkämpfe :ninja:

Stand letzten Sommer am Ende des Playtestings war,  dass sich die Regeln bzgl. der Rangboni zum Kampfergebnis ändern. Es ist dann nicht mehr notwendig so tief wie bisher aufzustellen. Es gibt wird keine Regel geben, die es verbietet.

Klare Aussagen zur Basengröße bei Streitwägen sind dann auch enthalten, hoffentlich

Ahh,it\'s very nice to hear this period interests you! :thumbsup: Please tell me you will attend Tabletops United 5 am 3+4. Juli 2010 in München/Dachau .I will be running a Chariot Wars campaign and it would be nice to include you.The armies will run at 1600pts.I will be starting my Trojan army in the projects section shortly as I\'m almost finished with my first unit and there I will go into detail as to concept and method behind building the army.Do to the large number of figures in the army I\'m giving army painter a try(except the shields which are hand painted).
Since I\'m building my army near around the Trojan War itself,I will have a mix of early and late Trojan equipment.My spearmen will have Long spears when using two hands(80mm)virtually a pike,but counts as a thursting spear and roughly (50mm) for spears in one hand.
My chariot bases will be 40mm x 80mm.
Units will be be wide with a 12man frontage(spearmen) in the front rank followed by 2 ranks.(width will be important in WAB2)
My army will run something like this:

-King(Wanax) - 191pts.
-Hero-50pts.
-EQETA Chariot Warriors (5)
Full command-210pts.
-EQETA Chariot Warriors (4)
Full Command-171pts.
-Spearmen (28 )
Full Command
Sword,Thrusting Spear,Large Shield
Combined Archers (8 ) -251pts.(Don\'t forget archers are 5pts and not 4pts. see errata WHH)

I\'ll go into more detail in the project section when I post. One word of caution,take it easy on the heroes as they can get pretty tough if you have to many and your opponent will get run over.I\'m not saying you would,just offering some advice on this to you and all future Mycenaean/Trojan players. I\'m really looking forward to seeing your mini\'s as I\'m a big fan of your work! :thumbup:

I\'m very familiar with Senor EinarOlafson work and I follow his blog regulary at http://einarolafson.blogspot.com/,although you won\'t find his 28mm Trojans there.Wait until you see his Wood Elf building(mind blowing!!)! :thumbsup:
Without a doubt,his Trojans are some of the best I\'ve seen to date. :applaus: I\'m not sure if he plans on building on army with them as blending to that standard takes time and factor in the size of a Trojan army and he has his work cut out for him. 8| It\'s nice you posted his work to add some inspiration. :thumbup:

Assyrer-Streitwagen (von Foundry) bekommt man 6cm breit, womit man dann auch kompatibel zu anderen Regeln wäre. (8 cm Tiefe finde ich sinnvoll.)

My Trojan chariots are light chariots and work at 40mm x 80mm and Assyrian chariots are heavy chariots and I would recommend 60mm x 80mm or close to that.Basically,20mm for each horse to your frontage.

Hello Tom,

I\'m not sure how I\'ll arm my chariots just yet.I prefer the look of the long spear,but I am trying to represent the Trojan army in a period of transition from old to new which it was undergoing during the time of the Trojan war.I think I\'ll model one unit with long spears and the other with javelins.
You still neatly avoided the question of will you be attending TTU next summer and joining in on the chariot war campaign?

I think the javelin chriots are more effective but the spear ones look better.
We don\'t have holiday plans made up yet for 2010 so I\'m not yet sure about the date.
It\'s unlikely for me to start into a trojan war adventure. I like the subject and the figures but I\'d never get the chance to use them again in Berlin and they are very uncomfortable to transport by air or track. If we start into WAB gaming it\'s more likely to be something around teardrop shaped shields and chainmail, imperial romans or alexander the great. So if I come I hope you don\'t mind me showing up with normans or moors or something simillar instead of boar tusk helmets. :hexe:

Es gibt ein Skirmish-Regelwerk für Troyan War before the Gates of Troy, von Redoubt!

1Ich habs-aber noch nicht bespielt-da kann man mit nur wenigen Einheiten-kleinen Stoßtrupps gegeneinander was metzenl-so richtig mit einzelnen Körperteile verletzen, Segen der Götter-na wies eben war :blush2:

Da kann man für wenig Geld mal testen, obs einem liegt! Die(Redoubt) haben sogar ein Abenteuerset mit Troya-Mauer von GrandManer, etlichen Minis incl. Helden und Streitwagen und die Regeln für 150 Pfund-wenn ich nicht schon alles hätte....damals wars mir viel zu teuer, wegen des Pfundkurses-aber inzwischen.....nur so als Tip :santa:
