@Frank Bauer
Your right on the Renaissance period not being very popular in general,but here in Germany the slant does go towards the TYW and understandably so as it\'s part of your history and culture.All I wanted to point out is that the ECW is both colorful and interesting.I just didn\'t like it being dismissed out of hand because of it\'s importance on worldwide basis.I believe as a wargamer a period must interest you in both painting and playing and anything else does not matter.
As for me, I have the typical wargamers problem in that to much interests me! :gamer: I always have a massive back log of models to paint! :dash: I love the dark ages and my favorite army is the Vikings in which I have one in both WAB and DBMM :phatgrin: .For WAB I own -Vikings, Imperial Romens,Carthagians,Ancient Germens,HYW English,Ancient Greeks,ECW-Royalists,DBA/DBMM-Vikings,Normens,Post Mongol Samurai,LOTOW Lawmen/Outlaws and if I had the time I would like an army for just about every book so far released for WAB + too many armies to mention for DBMM! :lol:
Thanks for pointing out the lack of interest in the Renaissance period,I believe they make for very nice looking games on a tabletop.Truely a period not to be missed by dedicated figure painters!
